Kielder Waterside Cottage has a Multifuel/Wood burning Central Heating System with electric fire in the Lounge. All fuel is included in the price.

The BBQ is available without fuel.

In the village we have a shop, public house and cafe.

The surrounding area and villages Including Leaplish, Falstone, Bellingham and Otterburn have a good range of eating establishments including Pubs, Resturants and Tea rooms.

Within a setting of natural and man made beauty Kielder Water & Forest Park has an amazing array of activities for all the Family, with Walking, Cycling, Fishing, Water Sports, Sailing etc, and now Star Gazing at the new Observatory, or you can just relax and enjoy the outstanding views and wildlife.

Full family entertainment for all visitors inc swimming and the Winter Wonderland at Leaplish,  whilst The Calvert Trust offers amazing activities such as climbing abseiling, zipwire, sailing, hydrotherapy pool and sauna  to both individuals and  larger groups all fully accessible, just follow the links.

Wildlife in Kielder has rare animals and plants including the Red Squirrel, the Mountain Goat and the elusive Otter even stories of a giant rabbit.

Kielder Castle set within the Village of Kielder has its own Tea rooms, visitors Shop and Exhibitions.
